Ramsey – Don Bosco Hockey is proud to announce Junior Defenseman John Campomenosi has committed to Quinnipiac University. Named as a 2016 1st Team North Jersey Sports & Bergen County Coach Association Defenseman as a Sophomore, Campomenosi is a smooth skating offensive defenseman with excellent hands and vision.
“Johnny is a tremendous defenseman”, said Head Coach Greg Toskos. “He plays the game as hard as any player we’ve had. He’s got a tremendous stride and offensively has the ability to change the game.”
John is entering his third season with the Ironmen Hockey program, following in the footsteps of his older brother, former Ironmen Captain, Luke Campomenosi ’16 and father Bob Campomenosi ’80, also a captain.
“As good as he is offensively, he’s just as good defensively. Night in and night out, Johnny is always matched against the opponents top line.” added Associate Coach Sean Foye.
