Senior Captain Ryan McLinskey 2017 BCT MVP
Don Bosco Hockey is proud to announce that Senior Captain Ryan McLinskey (7G,8A,15P) has been named North Jersey.com Male Athlete of the Week for his performance during the 2017 Bergen County Ice Hockey Tournament. Ryan tallied 3 goals and 3 assists during the tournament, including 2 goals in the championship win over Glen Rock, while also capturing tournament MVP honors. Playing along side his brother for the majority of the season, Sophomore Liam McLinskey, Ryan said,
“We just kind of play the game the same way,” he said. “If you look at us on the ice, we kind of skate the same way.”
A standout on the baseball team, Ryan will be attending Seton Hall University in the fall on a baseball scholarship.
